In the Mood for Christmas…

Hi peeps!

It’s been a while since I blogged. The month of December has got me lazy and busy at the same time if you know what I mean, but Instagram still has my attention. See snapshots of my life here

What’s happening today? A Christmas luncheon at work and I decided to dress in the spirit of the season. What do you think? Can I pass go and collect $200?

P3: Peplum, Print & Panthers

Happy Thursday peeps!

And, Happy Thanksgiving to all my American and Canadian visitors!

Sometimes on mornings, I’ll stand and stare at my wardrobe for a while if I have no clue of what to wear. And sometimes, I’ll see it. My OOTD – the dress/skirt/top/jeans with the heels/flats, and the matching bag and accessories. Piece by piece coming together as one ensemble in my head. This is what happened when I got ready for work today. This is what I saw…

OOTD: Givenchy Panther print dress, Prada Saffiano Lux Nero with Salvatore Ferragamo Carla pumps.

imageimageimageimageimageThe colour combination and panther motif caught my eye and stole my heart. Since the dress is a statement by itself, I opted for minimal accessories and simple pumps  to avoid going OTT. On the ears and finger: Cluster of diamonds stud earrings as seen here and an amethyst teardrop ring with pave diamonds.

I woke up with a good feeling… Here’s hoping something positive will come my way in the coming hours. Fingers and toes are crossed <X>.

I was born on a Tuesday and tend to be a little positive on this 2nd day of the week, just because…

As shared on my Insta, my Swirly ring from Jennifer Zeuner arrived yesterday, which I featured on the Manicure Mournday post. It’s a monogram ring personalised with my initials and made from rose vermeil which is a similar shade to 14k rose gold. I am absolutely loving this new addition to my ring collection. Easy to coordinate and match, it wraps well on my finger and is true to sizing (I’m a 6 for my middle finger).

xoxo

And I Roar… Again!

TGIF!

My animal print phase continues… I’ve done leopards here and here, and today the tigress in me is out to play in a playful dress. And I roar, again!

Tonight, the Hubs and I will be catching David Foster & Friends Live in Concert at The Star Performing Arts Theatre. Mr Foster, together with his group of acclaimed friends (among them Kenny BabyFace, Chaka Khan, Paul Young etc) will be the first major international artists to take the main stage, celebrating the grand opening of this new thearte in the island.

We were very fortunate to receive complimentary tickets with seats very close to the stage and looking forward to being among the first 5000 concert goers to experience this state-of-the-art venue. I have a feeling it’s gonna be a magical musical night.

OOTD: Bershka front tiger print 3/4 sleeve dress, Bershka studded pumps, Prada Saffiano Lux Nero, YSL arty ring in silver, Chanel CC earrings.

Happy weekend, peeps!

Simply Red

Ola peeps!

This morning, Scarlet called out to me and I decided to zip her up. In my opinion, one has to be in the mood for red to wear it out for obvious reasons why – it’s attractive and catches the eye. I’m not a fan but told the creature of habit inside when I was trying it on for the first time that sometimes in life, we’ve got to step out of our comfort zone. For accessories to match this passionate colour, go gold in my opinion.

OOTD: Karen Millen satin red flared hem dress, Prada Saffiano Lux Nero, Christian Louboutin simple pumps, Wanderlustandco vintage gem gold ruby ring and crystal clover earrings, Cartier trinity ring and March circle diamond pendant choker necklace in white gold, rose gold and yellow gold.

Beauty, to me, is about being comfortable in your own skin. That, or a kick-ass red lipstick.” – Gwyneth Paltrow

V Me. LoVe Me.

Hi peeps!

The weekend starts this evening for those in the island. Needless to say I’m looking forward to it.

My love for cut-out details endures…I reckon it gives an outfit a focal point for standout and recall factor, if you know what I mean. Happy Thursday ahead!

OOTD: ASOS PETITE Exclusive Pencil Dress With Cut Out Neck Detail, Calvin Klein Babette pumps, Prada Saffiano Lux Nero with Wanderlustandco accessories.
